Facilities management and campus planning provide in-house budgeting, design and management services for renovations and capital improvements. The team includes internal project team members as well as external architects, engineers, landscape design and many more. A primary goal for facilities management and campus planning is to remove the silos on campus and forge new paths using strategic integrated planning strategies. Whether it is capital projects, donor funded initiatives or internal project requests, the team is committed to aligning with the master plan and assisting the community in outlining and achieving the long term direction of Connecticut College.

Current and Future Projects
Facilities Management and Campus Planning leads the development of current and future projects through a strategic, institutionalized process aligned with Connecticut College’s Master Plan (2018–2038). These initiatives support long-term goals for student success, academic excellence, equity, and sustainability. Whether these projects are donor-funded, capital improvements, or internally requested projects, each effort is guided by robust project management, through initiation and stakeholder engagement to design, procurement, and execution. Our team includes internal staff and external experts in architecture, engineering, and landscape design. Projects range from academic and residential facility upgrades to enhancements in communal spaces. Each project aims to foster an integrated, accessible, and purposeful campus. We are committed to transparency, community collaboration, and thoughtful planning that supports the evolving needs of Connecticut College.
